Mission
  Mission The Independent Broker-Dealer Association has five central goals:



  • To promote high professional and business standards among IBDA members, within the securities industry, and with our dealings with the investing public;


  • To encourage effective communication between IBDA members and the regulatory community through constructive dialog;


  • To obtain fair representation of IBDA's interests before Congress, the state legislatures, and the regulatory community;


  • To ensure that IBDA members are fairly represented among the various industry Boards, committees, and subcommittees; and


  • To provide IBDA members with group discounts and benefits on such services and products as commercial parcel delivery, legal services, compliance consulting, self-study materials, and continuing education programs.
